Saving files

hi, i'm trying to save the documents automaticly, i use
"Activedocument.SaveAs" but this save the file in "My Documents" and i want
to save in one paste in the directory, like "M:\Server1\savefiles"
any sugestion

If you want to save in "M:\Server1savefiles\" it is quite easy
dim Savepath as string, DocumentName as string
SavePath="M:\Server1savefiles\"
DocumentName=inputbox "Please Give the Name of the document to be
saved",vbinformation,"Name the file to be
saved","BrunoDoc"+format(now,"YYYY-MM-DD")
activedocument.SaveAs FileName:=Savepath + DocumentName

Hi Herve,
the code you give me isn't qork, because the inputbox statement. you know
what it can be??, i think the statement is incorrect, but i would like to see
your opinion, most of all i am knew in VBA.

oops, i forgot to tell you one more thing, the code you give it does this:
when close the document it will appear one box to put the name that we want,
right!! i like that method, if you can be more specifically i will appreciate.
