Saving Microsoft Works documents

My Microsoft Works will not save documents with the same first letter without
asking if I want to save over the previous document. If save a document
titled "Mary", I cannot save a document under "Marilyn" without the Microsoft
Works application asking if I want to replace the "Mary" document.
What can I do to stop this?
