scaling text box on a picture

I've upgraded to Windows 2003 from 1998. Big changes. I used to be able to group drawing objects (text boxes, etc) to a picture and then when I re-sized the picture (by using the arrow on the corners) the drawing objects (text boxes, arrows, etc, which I grouped) would scale to the new picture size. After grouping the objects in 2003 it does not seem possible to group them to the picture and thus have them scale automatically to the picture size I make. Is it still possible to have grouped objects automatically scale to the picture size? How do you go about it?

Hi =?Utf-8?B?c2hhd24=?=,
I've upgraded to Windows 2003 from 1998. Big changes. I used to be able to
group drawing objects (text boxes, etc) to a picture and then when I re-sized
the picture (by using the arrow on the corners) the drawing objects (text
boxes, arrows, etc, which I grouped) would scale to the new picture size.
After grouping the objects in 2003 it does not seem possible to group them to
the picture and thus have them scale automatically to the picture size I make.
Is it still possible to have grouped objects automatically scale to the
picture size?Are we talking about WORD 2003? (The version of Windows is irrelevant to being
able to group drawing objects, so I assume that's the case...)

By default, if you use any Drawing tools, Word now inserts them into a Drawing
Canvas. Everything in a Drawing Canvas is grouped in the sense that it will
move together, but it's not the same as the other kind of grouping.

If you turn off the option to automatically create a Drawing Canvas
(Tools/Options/General), and now insert a picture and some other things, can
you group and manipulate these objects as you expect?
