searching backwards

Outlook 2002.
Every now and then Outlook asks me to archive old appointments which I have
repeatedly done. Is there a way to search such old archives for old
appointments? Does one need to restore them to search them? Where are they
archived to?

Where are they archived to?

Click File>Archive and read where the archive file resides. Click
File>Open>Outlook Data File to open that archive file and access the data in
it.
