Security - Blocked Attachments.

Hi,

Can anyone pls help me on this one?

I have always, from time to time, received .mdb files from clients via
email, until today when I receive one that says the "Outlook has blocked the
following potentially unsafe attachments.........................."

Can anyone please tell me how I can turn off this and if I can recover the
file if it ever reached my system?
I am not using any mail server but a normal PC connected to the internet via
an ISP.
