CluelessGuy vs. Windows

I have Outlook 2003. The Sent times on the e-mails I've been receiving are
way off, and apparently the ones I'm sending out have the same problem. Case
in point, I sent an e-mail around 1:30pm to the vendor that hosts our ATS
(applicant tracking system). My contact got the message minutes later,
called me and told me that the Sent time said it was from 3:00am the next
morning!

On the flip side, I have been on the phone with candidates who have e-mailed
me their resumes during the conversation. I get the message, open it up and
it says I got it at 6:00am in the morning, right smack dab in the middle of
the day!

This is annoying, but is also causing some confusion with my candidates and
clients, who have been asking me why I keep such unusual hours. Can anyone
help me?

I'll assume the time is set correctly on your PC. But check the time
zone setting as well as the "automatically change for daylight saving"
(or some verbiage like that). Note that there is a time zone setting in
Windows and another in Outlook as well. You need to check both places.

That was it! I'm in the Midwest and the time zone was set for Pacific
Standard Time. Thanks!
