Send doesn't send

When I send an email from other then the NEW EMAIL link, the email sits
in the outbox. This includes a send from IE, ACT contact database
program, sometimes other places such as a remote desktop session.

I assume you hit "Send" or "Send/Receive"? How long does
it sit? What server are you connecting to? Do you know
anyone else using the same server? Is this a new or old
problem? What error does Outlook give if any?
