Send Emails Immediately

Hi, my outlook 2000 emails just sit in my outbox forever
until I click Send/Receive button. Is there a way to have
the emails send immediately after I choose Send?

If it is the same as 2003 in any way. You can go to Mail
Setup and click the Send immediately when connected under
the Send/Receive section.
