send mail command in ASP page

I have created a registration form that writes to a
database (Access) and opens the confirmation page of the
user. I also want to receive an email recapping the
registration information.

I did a mass-mailer page for the local fire department which
uses the techniques that you want. I made the form and sent
the results to an ASP page which sends the mail and then
saves it in a DB. If you are using NT4 I would search for
CDONTS on the web for samples or CDOSYS if using Windows
2003. Win 2000 supports both. They are both quite easy to
use. After that script runs sending the mail, it saves the
info to a database and then displays a custom confirmation
page.
