send / receive at startup

IDAssociates Inc.

New to Outlook 2003 from Outlook Express and would much appreciate any
advice on how to get Outlook to do an automatic send / receive when I first
stat the program. Thanks in Advance.

Menu path = Tools > Options > Mail Setup Tab > Send/Receive

1. Check "Send immediately when connected"
2. Select Send/Receive to set-up the send/receive frequency.

Interestingly enough I had seen this and it was checked. The program does
not respond with a send/receive at startup unless you also select a regular
interval ( 10 minutes etc. ) also. Thanks for the help.
