send/receive dialog window

In the begining I had a "window of dialog" when the PC was
doing the pooling and I was able to see a blue bar
indicating that the messages were coming.
I can not see that bar now. I'm using Outlook 2000 updated.
I don't have anything in the lower right corner when the
PC is doing the pooling.
