Sending an update with asking for acceptance

I am having a problem when I make an update to a meeting, say including an
attachment, where it is asking the participants to reaccept or deny the
meeting. How do I send out the update with the user needing to accept or
deny. I know I have received updates like this bfore from others, but my
updates always get responses back.
