Sending and Receiving Error

About 70% of the time when Outlook 2000 is initially
opened an error message (0x80042108) comes up saying
can't connect to POP server. If you close a few times
and reopen then you connect. Very Irritating. By the
way I do not have Norton installed. And it happens both
at my office and home computers which both used the same
Outlook disk for install.
