How do you get Outlook to receive messages on startup ann
and receive them periodically on a schedule of say mevery
30 minutes. I know there must be a way. Outlook Express
does it. Thanks for any help.

Depending on your version of Outlook, you either set it under Mail
Accounts->Send/receive settings or Tools->Options->Mail Delivery.

In outlook 2003 it's pretty simple.
Start outlook. Click a down array on send/recieve, choose
send/recieve settings and in the side menu choose define
send/recieve groups. There select a group named All
Acounts (if not already selected) and in the bottom of
the window you can set schedule time.
