Sending attachments using Outlook 2003

I can't send attachments using Outlook 2003, because almost everytime I try
to send any document, whether it is text, PDF or even pictures, the send
function times-out and the email remains in my outbox and doesn't get sent.
Can someon please tell me what is causing this and how can I rectify the
problem?

I actually submitted this question yesterday and received a response to my
email address, but the links in the email did not work.
So, how do I get an answer to the above question when I cannot see the
responses to this question?

Thank you!

How large are the attachments and what maximum size attachment does your ISP
allow? How many recipients are you sending the same message to?

After furious head scratching, MeToo57 asked:

First you want to take a look at the response you previously received. :)
If the links don't work (which is a known issue at this time) then
copy/paste the link in your Address bar and press Enter to navigate to the
response. Alternatively view your posting history and find your previous
post or search for it.
