Sending MS Word attachments

I have a PC in our office that can send e-mail with
attachments, but none of the recipients can open the
attached documents. This happened suddenly about 3 weeks
ago. We've uninstalled Office 2000 and reinstalled the
software, but Lisa's recipients still can't open her
attached documents. Any help is appreciated.
