Your database is damaged, or destroyed. Do you have a current backup?
(If not, you now have a painful lesson in why they're essential).

Check the suggestions at

http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm

for possible salvage ideas, and for ways to prevent or minimize such
corruption in the future.

- "First Error is actually from the "front End = "Unrecognized Database format"

Is this a split database? Is the frontend a MDB or a MDE? If it's a
MDE, can you create a new MDE from the MDB that you kept in reserve?

Last backup was last Thursday

They are spit and both are mdb files.

Can you open the backend and see the tables (all of them)? If so, it's
probably a corrupt frontend and you'll need to restore from a backup
(or rebuild the application). All I can suggest is that you follow the
suggestions in the Corruption FAQ (which is unfortunately offline at
the moment, I'm sure Tony will get it back up soon).
