how to repair a database in Access?

Hi,

I am getting this error message when I open an Access database.

The database needs to be repaired or isn't a database file.
You or another user may have unexpectedly quit Microsoft Office Access while
a Microsoft Office Access database was open.
Do you want Microsoft Office Access to attempt to repair the database?

I clicked "Yes" and it just exits Access. The same error message appears the
next time I open it. It does not seem like the problem was fixed.

What can I do?

Al,

Sound like you have some sort of corruption.

Create a blank database and import the whole old database into it. This may
solve the problem
