Set Margins: one line change

Is it possible to type beyond the set margins of a document within Microsoft
Word for a single line? Let us say if I had a compound word that I want
extended beyond the rest of the documents set margins. Would it be possible
to extend this word on that line without much trouble? Would I be forced to
set up a text box?
