Set up freezes Word 2003

I cannot use the page set up menu item to modify a document. As soon as I
click on set up, the program hangs and I have to cntrl alt del out of
it. I have reinstalled word twice but the problem remains? any one have a
solution?

Problems with Page Setup, Paragraph, Font, Style, Symbol, Print, and other
dialogues that have to do with the appearance of a Word document often
indicate a problem with the printer driver. Try switching to a different
printer and/or delete and reinstall the default printer.
