Hi there,
I have about 100 or so folders and sub-folders etc in my PST file... Into
which I organise all the emails I handle.
I want to set up archiving rules on them.
As far as I can tell the only two ways I can do this is 1) Set the DEFAULT
rule and apply it to ALL FOLDERS in one swoop.
2) Set the Archive setting on each individual folder.
Option 1 is not much use to me because I need different settings on various
folders... many I don't even want archived.
Option 2 is going to take a really really long time... because I am not able
to select more than one folder at a time nor can I set the archive setting
to a folder AND all folders UNDER it.
I wanted to find out if anyone knows of a script, utilities or method by
which I can set up the archive rules on multiple folders in a fast and
efficient way? Just being able to right click on a folder and then set the
archive details on it and the subfolders under it would make a huge
difference.
ALSO... How does one send FEATURE suggestions to Microsoft? To me there is
some definate improvement needed in how Outlook handles setting of archive
rules on multiple folders so I would like to suggest this to MS....
With thanks,
Jonathan
