Setting Default Attachment and Saving Locations

Hi Everyone,

I am using Office 2003 and trying to learn how to change
the default settings for saving and attaching files sent
to me through Outlook. Currently both defaults point
to "My Documents" when I would like it to go to another
network drive. How can I make this change in the Windows
registry or wherever?

On another note, when I open a document attached to an e-
mail in Outlook and select "Save" or "Save as", it
defaults to a temporary folder called 0LK3D. I'd like to
change this default too if I can, but Windows XP Pro
doesn't allow me to see this temporary folder.

Not so much a fix as a workaround, but you could simply put a shortcut to
the desired folder in the default locations (i.e. put a shortcut to
x:\networksharename in your My Documents folder)

1) any change affects all programs using my documents. You can add shortcuts
to the places bar so the outlook folder is a click away... If you aren't
