Tha problem has been resolved. As you suggested, I went into IE search, and
changed everything that I was allowed to change. Also, I went into
Microsoft Anti-Spyware and changed BHO settings, i.e., changing anything that
may have been hijacked. Outlook now goes to Google search page.

You are appreciated and helped resolve a very frustrating problem. My best.
