Setting the paste option "Keep Source Formatting" as default

PowerPoint should include the ability to set any of the selections in the
paste options as a default. When pasting slides, PowerPoint 2003 keeps
reformatting them to the new design template formatting. I have to click on
the paste option to select "Keep source formatting." I find this time
consuming (translated co$tly) since I use a large number of slides in
libraries to pull from and would like to set the default to Keep source
formatting by default and not have to perform two extra mouse clicks with
every paste.

Setting the paste option defaults should probably be incorporated into the
whole office suite of products, since often individuals need to perform the
same repetative operations and would like it to behave the same way they
choose each time.

Have noticed that there are several others on the discussion group with the
same dilema.

Hi Dan,

You may want to post this in the Powerpoint newsgroup
as well (link below) and include the version of Powerpoint
that you're using. It may be possible to change the default
behavior with a macro in Powerpoint.

It is posted there. The version of PowerPoint is 2003. This is a new
"Feature" to me. 2000 did not do this. It copied them with the source
formatting. Thanks for your reply.
