Several Layout questions

1. When you use a template, is design presented in a table? Does not seem to
be.
2. When inserting picture, it is more difficult to place next to type then
with Word and Publisher. Would it be best to have a table structure so you
can more easily position pictures?
3. if using a template is there any way to change the graphic colors?
Example a navigation bar has gray buttons except for the home button which
has a color I do not want (ochra). I see where I can customize but it only
seems to be for type.
4. I tried to had a current date on the first page. I copied javascript
from my existing site and inserted into HTML. When I view the page, I do not
see it. In the original site it was white type. How can I create a colored
background on which to put the "field" with the date so I can see if it is
working?
THanks

Not necessarily, that is up to you.

Yes, or use CSS to position the content.

I take it you mean a theme here.
You must modify the theme with youre changes, save it under a new name
and apply the Theme to the Web.
