Shape jog missing

I am evaluating Visio 2007. Last week I created a drawing and used the
'Up,
Down, Left or Right ' arrow keys to move shapes around the drawing in
several
pixel steps, and in conjunction with the 'Shift' key to move the
objects
around in one pixel steps. Today, however, the same key controls move
the
document around instead of the shapes. I've searched for a solution
but found
nothing and Microsoft Support won't help as they don't support the
'Trial'
versions of their software. Fat lot of use that is.

Has anyone got a solution to this problem?

Also the 'Trial' version I've installed is the Standard Visio 2007, I
now
want to use some of the 'Professional' version features. I have
downloaded
the 'Pro Trial' but it won't install, presumably because it finds I
have
already installed a trial version. I'm concerned that if I uninstall
the
'Standard Trial' I'll end up not being able to install either product.
Once
again MS Support will not help.

Any help resolving this iss would be much appreciated.

Kind regards.

to move an object or objects with arrow keys you must have the object(s)
selected/highlighted, otherwise Visio does not know what to move and moves
the whole page.

You can use any stencils from "pro" just download via search in
stencil...but other plug-in,s need the pro version....I don't know about
uninstall and install

Hi Doug,
Thanks for the reply.
I'd had the objects highlighted but got the result as described.
The problem was sorted by rebooting the PC.
Thanks again though.
