SharePoint Synchronization Problems

My synchronization is no longer working. The synchronization errors are now
in the hundreds, with another hundred or so changes waiting to be
synchronized. There are no "conflicts", etc. to be resolved. Does anyone
have any troubleshooting tips?

Microsoft Office sp1 fixed some synchronization problems between Groove 2007
and Sharepoint. If you have Groove 2007, but don't have sp1, download it from
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936982/. After installing, try a manual
synchronization (in the Edit menu, click Synchronize Now).

If that doesn't help, the following information might help narrow down the
problem:

* What version of Groove are you using?
* What version of SharePoint are you using?
* Has either been upgraded recently?
* Do you get an error when you try to synchronize manually? If so, what?
* Can you synchronize with the site from a new SharePoint Files tool in
Groove?

I have Office 2007 SP1 installed.
Groove is 2007 (4.2.0.2623) SP1 MSO (12.0.6213.1000). Office came with
Groove.

Am I current?

I "sort of" worked around the problem by moving the synchronization to
another system/user.

Yes, that's current. Assuming that you tried the manual synchronization (more
things can go wrong with the scheduled one), your workaround was probably the
quickest way to resolve the issue.
