Sharing contacts

I want to share my contacts and distribution lists with others. The reason is
so if my computer crashes (again!) and I loose the thousands of contacts and
lists set up there will be a backup.

Question is if I share them, will the people I share them with have a copy
if I lose mine or will it all be gone for everyone since mine is the master
copy?

Odd question. You can only share data if you are running against Exchange
server. If you are running against Exchanger Server then you have absolutely
no need to worry about losing data. Reconcile the discrepancies in your
question, and clarify what you think you need to do.

Simply make a copy of your .pst file and ALL your Outlook date will be
saved. Save it to a USB stick or an external drive.

I would like to recommend you automatic solution. Program I have foun
called Sync2 can back up your MS Outlook information every 10 minute
using usb drive, their FTP server (for free), or google account. It als
has many additional features
