Shortcut bar in Office XP

I have had to reinstall Office XP (new motherboard). I had a shortcut bar
before. It doesn't show up under programs/office tools. When I try custom
installation it is marked with a red cross (unavailable) in the list of
office tools. I do have Office 97 disc still, but on that installation you
can't get a breakdown of office tools. Can I install office tools from 97 or
will I lose other things on the XP installation?

Just change the unavailable to run from my computer. Unavailable just means
do not install which is the default for Office XP.

Thank you. It's so easy when you find out how!
