Shortcut keys don't work

Hi,

I'm not sure what happened, but up until sometime last week I've
always been able to delete messages from the inbox using the [DELETE]
key. Now for some reason I can't delete messages in that way. Ctrl+D
doesn't work either, but I can drag messages to my trash and I can use
the delete button on the menu.

Any suggestions?
