shortcuts for audio

any shortcuts for audio in ON? Maybe a start/stop, or anything like that?

also, am I correct in understanding that there is one long audio file per
page, so that if you revisit a page and start recording elsewhere on that
page, the timer for audio just picks up where it left off?

Finally, does the audio "visibility" (where it shows you the page point at
which something was recorded) depend on "enter" key to make new marking (or I
presume simply clicking elsewhere on page will do it)?

Thx for any help to someone trying to get up the curve fast. Quite an
intriguing program, to anyone from the dev team who may be reading this.

In OneNote 2007, click View | Audio and Video toolbar.

Think of each audio file being its own entity on a page. The best way to
figure out how to work with audio is to record some files the way you expect
to. If a student, record a class and see how your notes taken sync with the
audio. If recording meetings, use the Meeting Notes feature from Outlook to
create the page and see if that gives you information you need.

Another powertoy at Tuner

will even let you adjust the granularity of your synced notes. It's very
powerful, so work with the feature first (I couldn't understand this one
until I had used the audio feature a bit first).
