show 2 tasks in Calendar view

I have 2 concurrent independent tasks scheduled Monday to Friday in Gannt
view but when I switch to caenfdar view only one appears?
I have read several postings and tried several suggested solutions to
apparently similar issues, but still can't come to terms with calendar view.
any suggestions?

The calendar view is limited in the number of simultaneous tasks it can
display. You tasks is probably behind the hidden tasks icon in the corner of
the first day. Try showing fewer days in the view with a taller day panel.
Best use of Calendar View is when a filter is applied to only show some
tasks (EG for one resource only).
