I have users which are responsible for monitoring multiple
email addressses. Unfortunately since we upgraded to
Exchange 2000, Outlook no longer shows the address the
email was sent to. Instead Outlook shows the resolved
name of the user who has this email address assigned to
their account.
For example: Bob Smith ([email protected]) also has the
following email addresses set up in his Active Directory
account: (e-mail address removed), (e-mail address removed),
(e-mail address removed), etc...
Before upgrading, if Bob added the "To" column to his
Outlook Inbox, he would see the address that the email was
sent to (handy for sorting and rule purposes).
Now to "To" column shows "Bob Smith" no matter what
address the email was sent to. The only way to see which
address the email was sent to is to go into View > Options
and dig through the internet headers. In addition, rules
based on the email addresses no longer work.
Any ideas on how to work around this "downgrade"?
