Show progress bar (% Completed) in Summary Task bar

I want to show just the summary tasks of a project with the typical black bar
inside to show the % Completed. I have a label to the right showing the
number and I have changed the default configuration of the summary bar to
resemble the default task bar, but the % Completed bar is not showing up as
it does in the normal tasks. Can this be done? How?

Take a look at the bar styles, and you will see a Progress bar. You need
to create the Progress Bar for the summary task. Just insert a row in the
Bar Styles, copy the settings from Progress, but change the "Show....For..."
field from "Normal" to "Summary."

If I may add one tidbid to Andrew's post... you can use one of the "canned"
filters to show only the summary tasks.... the "Summary Tasks" filter can be
access from the Filter drop down.

It worked. I had to change, however, the "From" and "To" fields in the bar
style for the actual progress to show up. Thanks!
