Hi

I have 2 questions:
1. I want to see task notes in a report, is ist possible to extract it in
PWA? What are the options?
2. When I schedule a task and publish for timesheet reprorting, when I
update back the reportings, sometime my original dates changes. Is it
possible to avoide the changes (e.g. finish date, work)?

To answer your questions:

1. You can include the Notes field in a default or custom Project Center
view or Detailed Project view. However, the system does not "wrap" the
contents of the field, so that ends up being pretty useless. You might be
better off creating a report using SQL Reporting Services or Crystal
Reports.

2. There is no way to prevent the system from changing your schedule. That
is what the software is supposed to do. To keep track of your ORIGINAL
project schedule, you need to save a Baseline before you begin collecting
progress from your team members. Then you can analyze variance in the
Tracking Gantt view, along with the Work, Cost, and Variance tables.

Hope this helps.
