Single spacing in HTML Outlook2k

How do I get Outlook 2000 to leave only single spaces
between lines?

I have HTML format as my default format, and when I use
any of the stationery backgrounds it automatically leaves
double spaces between lines.

With the message open, go to 'Format' on the Toolbar and
left click on 'Paragraph'. Check under the 'Spacing'
heading (under the Tab 'Indents and Spacing' in my
version) and make sure that 'Line Spacing' is set
to 'Single'. You may also have to reset the values in
the 'Before' and 'After' to either 'Auto' or a value
of '0'. I'm not positive that this will accomplish what
you want, but it works for me.
