Slide Master

I am battling to get my slide master to stay the way I
have made it. I see if you scroll up and down on the
slide master you get slide master and title master. I
remove all text boxes out of the title master and slide
master but when I insert a new slide I still get the text
boxes. Each time I have to go into slide layout and
select a blank slide. How do I set it in the master that
it remains a blank slide each time I insert a new slide
with just the background I have requested and no title
boxes?

Just as you cannot add placeholders to a slide master, you can't *really*
remove them, either, as you've found.

Whether the slide has textboxes or not is determined by the slide layout, so
you'll have to select the blank slide layout in order to get a blank slide.

Easiest thing to do might be to insert one slide, select the blank layout,
then copy/paste a number of additional blank slides so that you don't have
to keep selecting the layout over and over.
