I NEED HELP WITH MY PRESENTATION!!!

Hi all. I have 2 questions...
1. When I press 'slide show' to view my work, when it gets to one certain
slide about 1/2 way through it gets stuck and won't go onto the next slide
unless I manually click to the next one. Why and how can I fix this?

2. I want to change my slide show from a 'working' format to a slide show
presentation so when I send it to others it will automatically start the
slide show and they won't be able to see my 'behind the scenes work' or make
any changes to my slide show. I also want to burn it onto a CD so when
popped in another computer or DVD player it will just immediatly start
showing the slide show presentation. How do I do this?

Thanks!

Hi,

#1. You might have some sort of object animated on mouse click you aren't
aware of. You will need to look at your animations set to see how it is
configured.

#2. You change it to a show format my saving as a slideshow (drop down
option type when you save). Or you can simply rename the ppt extension to
pps.

#3. A slideshow is still editable. The option to really protect it will
depend on your PowerPoint version.

#4. For an autorun CD:

Make an AutoRun CD

#5. For DVD:

Convert presentations to VHS or DVD video

Hope that all helps.

Well my 'any question' is: has any reader of this forum had this programme
to work for them?

This application in theory sounds very interesting and I for one would be
delighted to use it and recommend it if it ever worked.

I am employed in a very large academic institution in the UK. All of my
media colleagues have tried this software and it always freezes a few
seconds after starting.

We have tried this on different makes of computer - different specifications
of computer, all running windows XP with PPt version XP or 2003.

As this software is blatantly advertised on this forum so often, please
supply details why all of my UK contacts who have tried this software, all
state it does not work for them.

Looking forward to some feedback

Happy festive greetings

You are in good company. <G> See http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00156.htm.
Because this is a public forum, if someone chooses to post persistent "ads"
here, it does not mean that the product even works. (e-mail address removed) and her
co-workers at WonderShare (makers of the product) seem to be the only ones that
like the product.

In my experience the best way to record a presentation is to use a DVD recorder.
Prices for recorders are coming down dramatically and you can now get them for
less than $200 USD. You need to ensure that your video card can connect to the
recorder via S-video connector or composite video and audio connectors.
Recorders that create and play multiple formats are best - - DVD+R, DVD-R,
DVD+RW, DVD-RW, etc.
