Slide show view

I have recently converted to Office XP and my powerpoint
presentations no longer launch in slide show view which
is how I had them set up in 97. I cannot figure out how
to do it in this version. In previous versions you just
did a save as in slide show view.

Yes I have and it does save it with the .pps extension,
however when I open the presentation it does not open in
slide show view, it still opens in normal view.

It sounds like you are doing everything right, but your computer is
misconfigured. The information at that page should help you fix the
problem.
