Slide Show Won't Start

I recently installed PowerPoint 2002 on my computer. I
can open a powerpoint file, but I cannot get the slide
show to start. Any suggestions?

How are you starting it and what error messages are you seeing?

Go to Slide Show > Set up Show and be sure that you aren't displaying on the
secondary monitor. If you are, then slide show is starting, but the show is
being displayed on a non-existant monitor. Set it to Primary Monitor and
all will be right with the world, er uh the show.

You might be running on a machine capable of having multiple monitors. After
opening the presentation, see "Slide Show" | "Set Up Show...", "Display
slide show on" box. Make sure it reads "Primary monitor". Click OK and start
slide show. Do you see the slide show now?
