created a presentation for class went to school and couldn't open it up, brought it home and it was gone what happened does anyone know Help? How do you save these things to a disk or can you?

You should always save your presentation to your hard disk and then copy to
a floppy. Saving directly to a floppy will result in an unreadable file.
PowerPoint does not like to save to removable media.
