PowerPoint provides a number of linking options. You can highlight some text and choose Hyperlink from the Insert menu to link to other slides, other documents, or Web pages. You can insert an Action Button by going to Slide Show menu and choosing Action Buttons and picking a button with or without an icon. From there, you can set the Action settings to have the button play a sound, run a macro, or hyperlink to a variety of places. There are a few more ways to do it, but that should get you started
