Slide Transition, applying to one slide.

In Powerpoint 2003, I cannot apply a slide transition to only one slide.
There is no "apply to slide" button, just "apply to all slides". This is a
big problem for all my interactive slide shows. Is there a reason the button
isn't there?

If you set a transition it is automatically applied to the current slide. To
make things easy, there is an optional button that allows you to apply it to all
slides. Go to slide sorter view and maybe it'll be more obvious how it works.

Hi,

I was griping about this "feature" not too long ago myself. PPT 2003 is
trying to make things easier by associating repetitve items to multiple
slides, such as layouts, desings and transitions. To apply a transition to a
single slide:

Go to the slide, click on Slide Show, Slide Transition, and set the
transition in the slide transition window. You don't need to click on
anything else. No OK, No Apply, just you're done for this slide as soon as
you make the transition choices. MS actually saved you a step.
