Is it possible to have two slides open in the same slide view? I'd like to
be able to work on consecutive slides at the same time. Using 2003 version.

PowerPoint allows you to have multiple windows for the same presentation -
each window can be in a different view. Perhaps you can use it. Select
"Window" | "New Window" menu item. This will create a new window for the
active presentation. Select "Window" | "Arrange All" menu item to see all
the windows at the same time. You can navigate through all of these windows
independent of each other. You can be on one slide in one window and a
subsequent slide on a different window of the same presentation.
