Slow connecting to server

Don't know what I have done but it seems for ever to check my emails now,
before I click send/receive and in a flash the box would start downloading
now I have to wait about 30sec, Any Idea

Someone might have an idea if you had supplied any information with which to
diagnose the problem, like Outlook version (and mode, if applicable),
account type, delivery location, and whatever other symptoms or
configuration data you might have.
