I have a very wierd problem. Windows XP, Office 2002/XP both with all
upgrades and security patches. When I access a file server from Explore,
desktop short cut to remote drive or as a mapped drive I get responce
instantly from server. When I try to lets say attach a file in Outlook or
open word ducument in Word and go to the remote drive it takes about 10 to 15
seconds to load the location. I have the identical computer in the next
office with exactly the same install on same network going to same files and
from within office file list comes up instantly. These problems just started
coming up in last two months before then no problem.
Any clues would be greatly appreciated.
