Slow start and end of MS Word

I have no idea what I causing a 90 second startup and exit of word - and do not know what process to take to troubleshoot it. I have three identical machines with the same software installed and one is doing this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office and cannot seem to resolve the issue. Can anyone advise?

Is Norton Anti-virus running on this machine? If so, disable the Office Plug
In from the options of Norton Antivirus.

Also, if Outlook is installed (even if you have never used it), journaling
(keeping track of documents opened and closed) is enabled for Word and Excel
by default. Open Outlook, go to Tools | Options: Journal Options, and
disable this.
