sort by cell highlight

I have several clients with a list of providers. Each client has one provider
that I have highlighted by using a yellow fill. This is the primary provider.
I want to sort my sheet my column A (client Name) and then by B (provider)
with the highlight provider being the first with that client and the rest
following alpha order....

hi,
sorry. you cannot sort by color alone. to do what you want
you will have to add a column that you can enter a "Flag"
by the primary provider. the flag can be any thing. 1 or p
or pp or some marker that excel can see to sort by.
