Sorting a column by the second value in the cell

Hello. I need to sort a column that has names entered as "First Name, Last
Name" by the Last Name.

I thought I remember some sort of advanced sorting where you could tell
Excel to sort a field by a value other than the first one.

Can anyone help? Thanks.

Extract the last name into a new column with:

=MID(TRIM(A1),FIND(",",TRIM(A1))+2,999)

and sort based on this.
