Sorting A-Z at theTask level - Can you do it, how ??

Can someone please help. I have entered a number of tasks into Project and
would now like to sort those tasks alphabetically.

Using the sort function gives me all the other column heading except 'Task'.

Is it possible to sort on Task within MS Project ??

Try sorting on "Name"

Sailman,

If you go into Project => Sort and then select Sort By and then select
Name that should do what you are requesting. Be careful to note
whether the "Permanently Renumber Tasks" is checked in the lower left
hand corner of the dialog box.
